1987 fzr 1000 new to me looking for exhaust swap
Just got a new to me 1987 fzr 1000 in mint condition! Only has one defect on it and would like to fix it while adding a little something extra sound as the can is partially crushed, so I'm looking for an easy good sounding exhaust swap that won't require to much effort to swap over. I've heard of some issues with this bike due to a valve in the exhaust system so I just don't want to screw anything up
Re: 1987 fzr 1000 new to me looking for exhaust swap
Ive done some research and would like to find a d and d full race system if anyone knows where to get one? Ive done google search and come up with nothing except a couple people talking about getting one... I assume since its the full system its pretty much plug and play seems easy

D&D is LOUD... that's about it because it's open down the center (yzf600r)
had a yance&hines on a 96gsxr1100... sounded deeper and more tame than the D&D on the 600
I have a Yoshimura can on my 89 fzr1k and i LOVE how it sounds... quite loud but in a nice way

your 87 wont have an exup valve so if a new can fit straight on shouldnt have any problems
