Confused as usual!!!

Post by slick58 »

Perhaps this site has been redone, I don't know. I thought for sure I had some posts on here. At any rate, I have been on my computer all day looking for a 93 - 95 servo motor and cables for my 93 FZR 1000. If someone could tell me where I might go to look for this item either here or somewhere else, I sure would appreciate it. This bike is starting to stress me out. Thanks much for any replies.

last time i was on ebay looking i found a few servo motors, but that was in the uk. I have been searching for the exup valve and cables since i bought the bike with no luck.

Iv now got a small list of parts i need to find: rear shock, exup cables, exup valve, renthal bars, and twin spot headlights the last two are not really needed but i want them.

I'm not sure about the servo itself but I do know that 98-01 R1 exup cables are the same. I run them on my 94 1000. Could be very well the same servo with a different part number. 96-96 YZF1000r (ThunderAce) servos should be the same or similar as well. Might want to spend some time looking at the parts fishes to make sure.

Thank you all for the info. I found a 97 fzr 600 servo that has the same connector and looks the same. Hopefully it will allow my bike to rev past 4k now. Now, I need to find the cables and I will be set. I don't understand why everyone is eliminating these valves because I've heard no positive results from doing so, only complaints. :tks:

I removed mine just this year. After 7 years of listening to the valve rattle and people asking me, "Whats that rattling sound?", It had to go. I'm not missing it!!
