I have ridden 1000 k road trip a week or so ago and tried tapping it cool for one stint ( 100/110k) and rode another stint aggresively. I got the same 33 m.p.g. ( imperial) on all legs. bike seems to be running a bit fat but still pulls good and hard. My 400 GSXR consistantly gives me 60/65 m.p.g., but is not nearly so much fun to ride as my 92 Fizzer 1000 EXUP

My favourite way of removing bugs is to use a solution of dish soap and water. It should soak a bit and then the bugs come off super easy.. spritz rinse with a preasure washer or whatever

Just a heads up everyone who hasnt should check their emulsion tubes...if you dont know what they are then ask and then go check them... I've had my carbs apart for the past week looking very carefully, have some ovaling out and under cylinder 3&4's diaphrame I actually found some gritty shit which didn't make me happy because it must've gotten sucked in there some how by the airbox not being fitted.
