exup valve

Hi I'm just looking for info on the exup valve.
Where it is, How I check it, etc

I Checked the Wiki, did a search buy can't find much.

Type "exup maintenance" into Google, and the first return I get is http://www.cartestsoftware.com/fz1/exupmaintenance.html which is IMHO the best such site around. Pretty pics and everything!

It's in the header. Look under the bike on the left side by where the bottom of the shock is and you'll see a silver (it might be dirty) cap...it's behind there. Also, that site Don recommended is great and full of useful info. It's based on an FZ1 BUT the principles can apply directly to almost any EXUP bike yamaha made.
