no blinking

Post by Soaringman »

Hi I am new to this forum. I am in Gibsons BC canada, near Vancouver and I just purchased a 89 fzr 1000. Bike has 80,000 k on it but runs great.
both tail running lights work but the left one wont blink when I put the blinkers on, The front works fine but blinks fast because there is no rear blinking with it.

Any advice would be great

Thanks

Welcome....post more pics of your bike when you can.

Sounds like you have bulb out. Have you checked it? The orange cover is held on by one screw.

Never fond of blinkers anyways.Try hand signels. You must have broken wire or terminal fault if its not the turn filiment in that lamp.
Nothing like a fzr1000w.If you cant sort it race it instead.

Ya, I wouldn't be to worried but I need it for a test. I'm A little old and injured at 41 so I don't think racing will be my thing.
