the manual explains tire sizes for this bike also, i believe I have read though that the 600's have a 140 stock size, so the rim may be smaller also... I know everyone thinks bigger is better it seems, but I think the 160 should end up with a tad less rollout than the 170 and i don't really care about the fat profile everyone else desires, i bet the bike will ride and drive better with a 160 , for all I am doing with it, just slow commuting
