Hi, its been a while since my last visit (the race bike is going awesome)
Ive got some YZF 750 cams and lookin at slotting the sprockets and dialing in the cams with degree wheel.
What degrees should I set them too?
Its otherwise basically a stock engine.

Jeez, not much happening round here.
Don't worry about the timing as ive discovered that I cant time in the cam without removing the engine, so you can get access to the end of the cam with a dial gauge.
Well that's what it looks like to me. I'm not doing that again (just to time cams)
Also for some useless info for someone....When they say yzf 750 cams are straight bolt in don't believe it. They do bolt straight in but my clearances are all out now on the intake cam. exhaust cam is all good but intake clearances are all about 0.05 bigger than with stock cam. they were set at around .18mm so now they are all around .23mm.
Which means I will be removing cams for about the fifth time with this bike and will also have quite a collection of shims.

I installed YZF750 cams in my FZ750 race build, and it's very happy at 102 intake 104 exhaust. I adjust them "in frame" by removing the upper rear bolt, the exhaust mid pipe, and of course the head bolts and lowering the engine down. It's close to a full removal, but as I'm sure your aware the lower rear engine fitment point on these is the hugest PITA of any bike ever designed. LOL
