Ok, so I wanted to get rid of the single headlight and go to the dual. How should I get another plug in there for the second headlight? Simply splice into the same wires for the single light or wouild that make both headlights weak? Any ideas?

Ok, it's really my wifes bike... but with some help on here from many other FZR owners, it is now running and nearing completion. Tried that second-gear, clutch trick - it needed it, thanks. And yeah, that chain's got some surface rust on it. What size is the FZR chain? I've never tried to revive an old bike. This bike hasn't been started for a couple years, so what steps do I need to take, do you think? Definitely gotta dump the gas and get fresh gas. New battery is comin'. Clean carbs, I suppose? If so, I've never done it - what do I need to do?

In building a naked FZR, what are the options for speedo mounts? I was thinking about cutting up the birdcage to mount the gauges or maybe just keeping the frame bracket from the cage and welding new arms to it... but I'd prefer to go somewhere on the forks rather than to the frame. What did others ...
