FS: 1989 FZR600

Ok guys. I'm offering up my 89 FZR600. I'm in the Air National Guard and was offered an aircrew spot in a different state. It's gonna take about a year and 1/2 of training in different parts of the country and a shit ton of studying. Needless to say that riding or wrenching isn't gonna be a priority...

Re: Herculiner > Paint

At least if you drop your bike there's a good chance of the plastics staying together and not breaking. I was looking into putting a bed liner like that on my truck a few years ago. They said that they used to cover cinder blocks and drop them off buildings to show how tough the liner was. How much ...

Re: Front fairing mod.

If the FZR had an evil twin, it would be your bike. I like it and may have to try something like that.

Re: 20 Reasons Not to be the First Into the Intersection - Video

I see this shit all the time. It also just happens that I live in Springfield Ohio right now. Most of those clips are from ONE intersection at different corners. Guess which intersection that I avoid at all costs? I've lived all around the country, and Japan for a while but have spent most of my lif...

Re: Clutch cable / sprocket cover install

Adjusting that screw was exactly what I needed to do. I just "rode" her up and down my back ally a few times. Now I just need to get the carbs situated and I might actually be able to ride instead of stumbling, bogging and coasting. banghead :swear

Thanks again guys.

Re: Clutch cable / sprocket cover install

It's not an issue of shifting the bike. It'll go into every gear just fine with or without the bike running, clutch in or out. I did a frame and fork swap and I went to take it on a test ride yesterday and nothing happened when I let go of the clutch. banghead I had the cable and cover completely of...

Clutch cable / sprocket cover install

OK guys. I did a search and didn't find anything like my problem. If I missed it I apologize. I had the clutch cable and sprocket cover off the bike completely. When I put them back on I can't get my clutch to engage at all. I can put the bike in first (bike running) and let the clutch lever out all...

Re: Newbie FZR 600 advice

Not to thread jack but...

I was at the local dealership the other day and man that new 250 Ninja is sharp. I'd ride it and I don't care much for Kawi's. $4K brand new doesn't seem too bad either.
