Re: Belly Pans-Who's Got 'Em?

When I started stripping my bike down, I was against using a belly pan. But I have seen some lately that really have me going back and thinking twice about it. I'm far off from really having to make that decision, but I feel where you are coming from Mr. Freeze. If you get one on that you like, plea...

The round, kinda classic style fits what I'm trying to do with my bike real well, but just haven't heard a whole lot about them? So if anyone does have any experience with this gauges specifically, It would...

Re: Help me choose-Headlights

Glad you were able to ride through it. I've had alot of trackday instructors tell me, "trust your tires, because believe me, they are better than you are."

Re: R1 fork swap done, but questions...

Can you take a picture of the top of your lower triple? Id like a better look at your steering stops. My triple was the prototype and doesnt have stops. i want to see how closethey are in design. There is a pic of it with the stops up the page some. Still have to extend the tab on the frame for the...

Re: R1 fork swap done, but questions...

I pulled the top clamp off this morning and took some pics of everything. This is what I've got. http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b249/HawkGT/My%201992%20Fizzer%20600/topclampproblems001.jpg http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b249/HawkGT/My%201992%20Fizzer%20600/topclampproblems002.jpg http://i20.ph...

Re: R1 fork swap done, but questions...

ModKing pressed in my stem to the lower triple, and he made the spacer, too, so I'm assuming that that stuff is accurate. I am thinking that maybe the guy doing the swap didn't do something that a one of you guys might have done, which which would be my fault, because I told him it should be a strai...

R1 fork swap done, but questions...

Hey guys. I've had my '98 R1 front end for a couple years waiting to do the swap. Using ModKing's custom lower triple. I had a shop do the actual swap, since I don't have a garage, and this is what they got when they bolted it up. The Steering stem nut doesn't sit flush with the top clamp. I've been...
