Thanks for the link. I'm not a youngster but I still hadn't seen this movie. Watched it yesterday and really enjoyed it.

Haga broke arm and scapula
I just watched the Donington race on DVR from last weekend. I checked the SBK website and it said that Haga broke his arm and scapula in that wreck. They do expect him to race in BRNO.

Re: I o M racing
The GP race is Spain was awesome. That finish was the best. Rossi passed Lorenzo on the last turn of the last lap. And, they traded positions several times the last few laps. Looks like the finish at this race with the top three was exactly the opposite of the finish in the race in Italy. In Italy i...

Re: Difference between '91-93 and the '94-95 forks
Well, I won't be putting the '91 forks back on for a while. The lower tubes are bent. When I place a 12" ruler on the side with the bend centered I have about a 1/16" gap. I found a couple places online that claim they can do fork straighting. I think I'll look into it since the bend is very slight....

Thanks Sweekster.
BTW, what weight oil did you use when you rebuilt your forks?

Difference between '91-93 and the '94-95 forks
I've been looking around and can't find it specifically what I'm looking for. We all know at this point that the '91-93 forks have a smaller diameter front axle and are physically different forks from the '94-95. I believe the '91-93 are Kyaba (sp?) and the '94-95 are Ohlins units. Correct me if I'm...

Re: New addition to the stable
No problem. I appreciate the effort. I've decided to replace the seals in the '91 forks and try them out. I'm sure for regular street riding I probably won't see any difference between the '91 forks and the '95 forks. We'll find out. The seals should be here tomorrow and I'll work on pulling the for...

Re: it's mine; pictures added and edited
Silly rabbits...they handle just as good as the 600 does. It just takes a little more effort to lean them over. That's all. Mine doesn't take any effort to lean over. Push the right bar it drops right over to that side. Push the left bar it drops right over to that side. If you are struggling to tu...

Re: New addition to the stable
Option 4 - get bearings that match the bearing socket of the '91 wheel and the '95 axle. The '91 uses #6203, the '95 uses #6004 series bearings. Go to the local bearing house (check your yellow pages - or the local NAPA Parts store might have them) and ask for #6204 bearings. Wheel bearings get spl...

Re: it's mine; pictures added and edited
Congrats, nice grab.
As far as which one to keep? Ride that 1000 for a while and I think it'll be obvious which to keep. There is no replacement for displacement.

Re: New addition to the stable
Well, unfortunately the '95 bearings have an outside diameter of 44mm and the '91 bearings have an outside diameter of 40mm. Therefore, you can't just swap the '95 bearings into a '91 wheel to mount the '91 wheel on a large diameter front axle. The '95 and '91 wheels are apparently not the same. Bac...
