Do you still have it? no , i actually sold that to get my fzr . i'd have to say my favorite feature of the cb750 is that the airbox slides off so you can easily remove the carbs (if you've ever removed carbs on any other 70's or 80's jap bike you know ...

go with the sohc cb750 , they make everything for it and it's all around a great bike . the 360's and 400's are fun but WAY too slow . this is my old cb750 cafe bike , it's a 1969

if only the tail is tweaked why don't you just weld on a subframe from another bike and use some other tail ? it's cheaper than a new bike .

you can either bolt the springs to something or you can make a platform with pins that stick up so the springs sit on the pins , that way you can flip the seat up if you need to get to something under it .
