^^yes they are adjustable needles, 6 settings, i started at 5th from top, now at 3rd. It's a DJ kit

I would honestly say you are worrying too much about the float height... I seriously doubt that's y it is not starting.
Have you checked your coil packs? getting spark to each cylinder?? Ohm out your wires also... This can all be seen in the manual in my signature.

shit ya, it is a two wire pickup..... Well this could have explained my problem then, because when i got my bike the stator cover was completely BASHED in, and like you said, it wouldn't be messed up unless it had been wrecked/crashed. More than likely mine was. I'll shut up now...LISTEN TO REELRAZO...
