Re: '92 FZR 600, anyone try different gauges?
i don't have a digram and unfortunately i didn't end up having time to work on my bike this weekend. the gauge i got is the 752-601 http://www.trailtech.net/digital-gauges/vapor/752-601 . the wiring for the gauge itself seems very straightforward, but i got the dash kit with dummy lights and that's...

Re: '92 FZR 600, anyone try different gauges?
Demon, that should be a definite STICKY if you made a diagram for the vapor gauge. I plan on getting one in spring time. What model did you get??? Like you, if I play around with the wiring, I'd end up getting it to work. But, let us know if you had any troubles hooking up your vapor. B.t.w. Since ...

Re: '92 FZR 600, anyone try different gauges?
This one is the one I got. It's a generic kit for conventional forks. I got the black one (stealth). http://www.trailtech.net/product8157.html This is the Dashboard. http://www.trailtech.net/022-PDA.html Unfortunately, you can't used the wiring harness for some of the idiot lights. Some of them use...

Re: seca ii triple + drag bars
I decided not to acre screw with the forms and found an adjustable set of bar risers from bike master. Got then right where they need to be now, I'll just need longer brake hose so far. Everything else looks to be long enough. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/03/05/u2a6y2uj.jpg Sent from my Nexus 4 usin...

Re: seca ii triple + drag bars
at this point, i'm thinking that lowering the forks may be a good starting point. i'm not sure exactly how that's done though. i'm thinking you loosen both top and bottom triple clamp, slide the forks down a bit, and then re-tighten. is it as "simple" as that? i'm messing with the rear end of the bi...

seca ii triple + drag bars
hey all, i've been MIA again, lol. amazing how fast time flies when projects come to a standstill. anyway, i'm back to working on mine again. i decided sometime last year that the fairings are a waste of time and i like the look of a fighter, so that's the direction i've been going. i picked up a tr...

Re: YZF swingarm/R6 wheel issues
fyi, pretty sure i found the issue with the setup. i got the yzf swinger a few years ago knowing it had a "cosmetic" dent on one side. well, upon further investigation, it looks like that whole side of the swinger is tweaked inwards. soo...i'm probably going to pick up another swingarm, or try to fi...

Re: YZF swingarm/R6 wheel issues
That won't do anything about getting the assembly to fit. That will only align the chain with the sprocket. I think you might want to try not using the stock spacer on the sprocket side. See if it adds enough room to fit in. I was going to look at my r6 wheel and yzf swinger in the shop but never g...

Re: YZF swingarm/R6 wheel issues
ok, looks like i may have missed a step. according to abs writeup a couple posts down, you have to machine the sprocket hub the thickness of the sprocket (would be nice if the pics were still there, and if i had an exact measurement). guess i'll be doing some in depth measurements and buying my dads...

Re: YZF swingarm/R6 wheel issues
did you make the left side .440 and not .5 like it mentions but doesn't show in the drawing? yea. when i first got the spacers back they were the dimensions of the *picture*, and one sleeve was actually longer than the other. i had to get the machinist at my dad's work to shave the left side down t...
