FZR600, R6 tail, seats, FOR SALE, LOTS of custom mods

I'm finally selling my bike after all of the work i did to it. Its a great bike, clean, and has LOTS of custom mods done to it. I will attempt to list them all but there is probably more. It started right up after the winter. It could use a carb cleaning and needs to be professionally tuned, and it ...

Re: My FZR project is almost complete!!!! Comments please

The undertail i used is from an 02 R6. The plate mounts are shaved. 99-02 tails are the same but the 02 undertail is different. It wasn't easy but i think it looks much nicer than the 99 undertail/taillight setup.

Re: My FZR project is almost complete!!!! Comments please

Thanks guys. Yeah your stock rear sprocket is for a 530 chain (YZF and FZR) but they're not interchangeable. However, if you come across an FZR1000 wheel, the YZF sprocket is interchangeable with that. stock or aftermarket rear sprocket from the YZF will do just fine (i turned my around backwards to...

Re: My FZR project is almost complete!!!! Comments please

Oh and the sprocket setup is a 520 14T for a ZX6R 03+ (offset about 8mm) and the rear is the stock YZF600 47T turned around backwards. With a standard 530 chain, it lines up so perfectly you'd think it was meant to be. Plus, with the 14T and the 47T in the back, its the equivalent to a quick accel k...

Re: My FZR project is almost complete!!!! Comments please

Yeah it took me a while to put it all together but being as a YZF600 swinger is a fairly easy swap and would give you a 5" rear wheel, i began to look on the YZF sites to see if they tried fitting anything wider. I discovered the FZR1000 was a direct bolt on. The only thing i changed was the torsion...

Re: My FZR project is almost complete!!!! Comments please

Thanks man. You got a nice one too. Took me a litle while to learn where your front fairing came from. I wasn't trying to make an "FZR6" lol. I forget, do you have a different motor in it?

Re: My FZR project is almost complete!!!! Comments please

Thanks a lot guys. Nice bike and paint scheme yamaha_george . I know it needs newer rear pegs, i'll probably order a set of four soon. I'd like to replace the peg mounts in the back but i'm not sure whats useable. As far as the exhaust goes, its going to eventually get a Delkevic Short can to match ...

Re: I need help!!

When i open the carbs up, is there anything else you think i should look at to see if its clogged? I took the mixture screws out to about 3.5 turns. there's just a lot of inconsistency in the vacuum pressure. They are all different depending on the RPMs. No matter what i adjust, it still sounds like...

Re: I need help!!

I'm going to try and spray starter fluid while its running and see if that brings the #1 cylinder up. If so, somethings clogged. The main jets have just been replaced and its seeming like maybe the bowl is getting empty. Will the pilot jet cause the same thing? I really appreciate your help.
