Re: Down memory lane (one for the old geezas )

Ah, pictures of riding in NJ.

Me likes the TR350............

Which one are you , George? The one with glasses? In the pic of the trials there's a guy with long hair and glasses that could pass for a younger version of you.

Feel, Ride, Throttle and Braking

Now that winter has moved in I'm searching out reading material to improve my skills. Here's a few I found recently. Print 'em out and have 'em for a bathroom read! http://www.visordown.com/articles/view/mackenzies_psychology_of_riding_feel/5849.html http://www.visordown.com/articles/view/mackenzies...

Re: New Bike!

$5799 I think there's a few in Mc Henry,MD. Maybe some at MartinEurosports in Pa. Not all dealers have them. Those that do may only have 1. Like at the dealer that I went to. I have to put a steering damper on this thing......or I'm just not used to a motorbike turning as fast as a bicycle. Some guy...

Re: New Bike!

Oh, and one more thing......I did some power to weight calculations.....
the FZR400 has similar power to weight ratios as the RS125.
Same with the CBR400R and close to the VFR400 (NC29).

No torque whatsoever.......but a top end of 100 - 110mph. Not bad for a 35 hp , 260 lb bike. :bunny

Re: New Bike!

Only 500 of these bikes are coming to the U.S. The RSVR was tons of fun....waaayyyy too fast for the street. As far as tracking it.....well.....straight away speeds don't do it for me anymore. In turns the little RS will knock it's socks off. It's all about carrying speed through turns (and never to...

The Italian bikes are recent. I was the guy who couldn't understand why those Ital bikes were so damn...
