I've got an FZR 400 thats getting a Fox shock. I need to make a custom clevis. I also need to know the height of the front end. I have a '99 R1 front end on the bike. So I have no clue where to star with setup. I know the FZR forks are much longer. But the clipons go on top of the triples on the FZR...

I was hoping it was universal in the Fox family.

Are the forks actually bottomed? Meaning are they at the limit of travel? Or is the fan just hitting before the forks get all the way through their stroke? If you're hitting the fan, try to move the fan? Find a lower profile fan? If you put a heavier motor in the bike, you may need heavier springs. ...

Make sure you haven't broken some exhaust springs or lost bolts. When those are missing, they can make rattling sounds too.

Your chain is not likely causing head shake at speed. Have you lowered the front of the bike or raised the rear? I have 3 or 4 tachometers. I don't know which is for the 400 or 600. But the wiring harness on the 400 I have seems to have a four wire connector. All the tachs I have seem to have 6 wire plugs. Can anyone help.

I'm told the first gen R6 front end is a direct swap in.
Does anyone know if the 1999 YZF front end is a simple bolt in as well?

I have an FZR 600. Complete. I'm getting a FZR400. I want to put the 600 engine in the 400 for track use. What parts are different on the 600 that I can sell? Whats the same and I should save for spares? Anyone need parts I'm not going to need?
