There is a open and a close cable. You hook the two cables into the circular slots for them and the bolt end of the sleeves onto the mounts. It's pretty hard to screw up

Steering stem length
Hey guys, I'm looking to do a triple swap on an EX500, and was hoping one of you could take a measurement of the FZR stem. I need from the top of the bottom triple to the start of the thread for the locking nuts:

Thanks!

Thanks!
Re: Valve Job
okay I got you, but 0.05 x 3 = 0.15 not 1.5 .. I'm not sure if one of those is a mistake. So basically I have to re-readjust the shim? Do you know why it didn't do anything the first time I did that?
Re: Valve Job
I'm not sure what you mean. Could you explain in a bit more detail? I believe I have 160 shims in there right now.
Re: Valve Job
Specs: Exhaust (0.008~0.012”)
2 Valves: 0.014 & 0.015"
2 Valves: 0.014 & 0.015"
Re: Valve Job
So.. i just leave it? Can I do anything to fix that?
Valve Job
Hey everyone, I'm just finishing up my valve job and I noticed something strange. I replaced 5 shims that were out of spec, but the clearance for 2 of them (same valve exhaust side) stayed the same. The others are all in spec now but these to stayed at around 0.015". Anyone know why this might be?

Camshaft reinstallation
Hey everyone I have a quick question about reinstalling the cams. Just to be 100% sure, if I rotate the alternator a few time after installing the cams and everything is okay, I have them installed correctly right? In other words, if they were installed incorrectly, say on tooth off on one or both c...

Re: how to check coils link??
1. Boot Resistance -- Remove boots- check resistance of boot (9000 - 11000 ohms) 2. Secondary Coil Resistance -- Check resistance between the two leads ends (9600 - 144000 ohms) 3. Primary Coil Resistance -- Remove connector for wires- check resistance between the two wires there (1.8 - 2.2 ohms) Th...

Fork Height
I noticed my bike was sitting on my race stands a bit weird the other day so I measured the height and the front axle sits about 1/4 inch higher off the ground on one side than the other. Can anyone suggest what might be causing this or what to check/do about it?
Thanks
Thanks
