No I didnt end buying the 89 carbs, I got ones from a 95. Im sure there are no cracks in the intake,i have check it again and again, and the vacum screw is in there.

No I havent adjusted the valve clearance/lash, ill just might as well do that first and see what happens.

dam, well maybe its time for that 660 conversion. but im going to run a compression test later today..when the tool gets here..but what makes me think im having a valve problem is, when im turning it over and i put my hand over carb #4, its hardly making any suction, with both sets of carbs I have. ...

Out of the process of elimination so far (still have to check the compression), But im sure a valve is hanging open in one of the cylinders. my question is, am I going to have to drop the engine to pull the head off? I would like to keep it in the frame.

Why buy a 22 year old part? becuase my carbs are junk. The carbs Im looking at a pretty clean (and have been cleaned after removal) and were removed off of a running bike. Im just curious what do I have to do to get the throttle linkage to hook up?

What year carb will match up with a 1995 FZR 600? Will carbs off of a 1989 fit a 1995?

I have tested it ill try it again on ac to make sure. I just hold ohm meter ends to the end of the wire of the pickup coil, with the bike turned on I get nothing and when I turned it over it only jumped around 9 10 and 12, like I said ill try it again today. anybody know where to buy one, I belive mine has gone bad, im barely getting a reading from my voltmeter out of the pickup coil wire when im turning the bike over. Is there a way to clean it out good, it did have an oil leak in there before, but I checked on bikebandit I cant purchase that exact part.

Im looking for a stock coils or if anybody has the coils from an escort id be interested, my bike isnt making a strong spark so im really trying to replace alot of it.

I held a saprk plug (brand new one) to the block and im hardly getting anything, after I stoped turning it over I got a little shock when I touched it. After my bike sat for 2 years, I pulled off the carbs and had the old man take them to work so he could use some of his tools to clean them out really good. I know they are cleaned out good and they are getting fuel, when I cover them with my hand I feel a good suction and gas is getting on my hand....
