Re: What do you guys think of this school?
Personally, I went to the Nashville Auto-Diesel College... I wish I had saved my money. I got out of that, and nobody wanted to hire me without any actual experience. So I'm doing industrial electrical work, while paying off about twenty grand in student loans for mechanics school...

Re: Remove YZF600 Oil Cooler
That is a cool setup with the FZ oil coolers. I might pick one up. Thanks for posting that Rage.
I don't see how you could mount the filter remotely with that setup though. Post a rough drawing of your idea if you want. I'm just not seeing it.

Re: So who all was bidding on that Airtech tail on ebay?
Not yet. I've got the tail and R6 tail light. When I get some extra cash I'm going to send it to mod king to do an undertail. When I get it all together I'll be sure to post pictures.kikepiz wrote:Any pics with the finished tail on?

Yeah, the idle adjustment cable. I couldnt figure a way to get it apart. I may have to just use shrinkwrap.

Rubber sheath on carburetor adjustment screw
I just got a set of carbs, and some K&N velocity stacks off of ebay. I'm going to put in a rebuild kit and jet kit. What I was wondering is, the rubber sheath on the carburetor adjustment screw is falling apart. I was wondering where I could get another one, and how to remove the assembly, and recal...

Re: Got me a Corbin seat from eBay today.
Never been a fan of the styling of the Corbin FZR seat, but those things are so thick and comfy it's hard not to like them.........I had one on my Superhawk and wow what a difference over stock :headbang: I can't say that I think it looks any worse than the stock seat. I've always been a fan of two...

Damn, that's a hardcore GIF. I'd say he was sore the next day, if he lived through that. I guess it all depends on speed, but no matter how fast your going, taking a faceplant into an SUV can't be fun.kikepiz wrote:Just be careful if you want them for wheelies...

I haven't taken any yet. If I think about it I'll snap a couple tomorrow. I might be looking to sell it soon since I got an airtech tail.

Re: Is anyone here running a steering damper?
So that's all you really have to look for is a 38mm?, right? fork mount? It shouldn't be too hard to make a bracket and mount it to the frame. Fairing clearance may be a problem though as Slayermd said.

Re: Is anyone here running a steering damper?
The whole setup was about 100 bucks. The bad part is, I dont know how the fairings are going to fit up with it yet. That looks pretty good man. You got a pic of how it attaches to the clip-on or fork or however you did it? Is that from a GSXR? Or is it a kit for the FZR? abs: I haven't seen any kit...

Re: Is anyone here running a steering damper?
they were just selling one for the fzr on ebay... Yeah, I saw that, but there weren't any brand names on it, and it didn't look adjustable... I didn't really think it was a good buy even if it worked starting out at $50. What years GSXR dampers are you guys using? Or do you have to modify all of th...
