i ordered a haynes repair manual not too long ago for the 87 to 96 frz 600 to 1000 bikes... so after reading the book i noticed they have a section in the fron that translates your vin or engine code into what model and year your bike is for clarification... so i busted out the title and double chec...

if its not fixed yet i would check all 4 of the fuses in the fuse block under the seat... i blew a fuse somehow when i first got the bike and it refused to start or anything... i tried bump starting it and everything... please let me know i want to say it was one of the middle but i dont know... goo...

yeah im checking over everything as we speak... it is a 110/70/17 dunlop... wore down a good bit but i dont think it would cause a -15 mph reading (give or take alittle at different speeds)... i think its just the cable... ill replace soon and notify...

ok so i was just wondering what the wheel size is... my front is a 17in and rear is a 18in... is that normal? both wheels match and are identical except diameter... im curious if this is the reason my speedo doesnt read correct speed... thanks...

ok so i got to thinking after working on my bike that it should have an air filter... but all it has is the piping going from the nose into the frame then under the gas tank cover and there is nothing covering the carbs... so i looked on bike bandit and it shows a whole setup that resembles a carb s...

ok so all my bikes ive owned so far have specifically said use premium unleaded gas... well after googling yamaha fzr600 i was reading an article where it said use normal 87 octane gas... so im confused and i was just curious what everone else is using... please take you time as i just filled my tan...

ok i found out the electrical problem... my rear brake switch was twisted inside and it was causing the two wires inside to arc and cause the light to stay on... causing the cover to melt... well i got that all figured out but now the blue wire is getting no signal at the rear plug right before the ...

OK UPDATE!!! I went over all the wiring and found that the guy was running a wire straight from headlights to taillights... so i removed that and then found a 3 wire plug on the left side right by the deltabox sticker on the frame that was all melted... replaced and repaired wires... now the lights ...

ok found the wiring is all rigged... the wires were connect to the headlights and the normal connectors... so i think i was getting over volted because of improper fuses... so im going to rip everything apart and redo the wiring tomorrow and ill let everyone see the wonderful pics tomorrow... luckil...
