Re: FZR manuals
Yeah George I normally always purchase the factory service manuals. As a matter of fact, the last two I bought were for Yamaha ATVs that I owned & I purchased them from a dealership right down the block from my shop. That dealer closed its doors a year ago. I'm gonna have to buy online which is why ...

Fork time!!!
Okey dokey gents...fork build time for me! Stock forks...good shape, no rust or pitting. Pretty damn clean actually. Aside from the obvious stuff (seals, dust seals) what's the general consensus on upgrades? I'm planning on cutting the springs to achieve the desired rate & I read quite a few article...

FZR manuals
Never bought one! I've been using a .pdf one on my phone & now that I got the motor out & am about to start transmission work I was curious for as to feedback from those who have used the different available repair manuals. I normally like to purchase the Manufacturer released manuals for the specif...

Re: Electrical Issues
Interestingly enough, the fuse for the signal circuit was bad. It looked good at first...but I guess I missed it. The safety circuits are working fine now, but the signals don't flash. I assume the flasher went which caused the fuse to blow when it came on for a few seconds. The flush mounts aren't ...

Re: Electrical Issues
I checked the indicator bulbs & they were still good. At first I checkecd the flasher relay by tapping it a little. That was when it worked again for a few seconds. Then I noticed the neutral light was off. However, if it was just the bulbs it wouldnt start IN GEAR with the kickstand down. Which it ...

Electrical Issues
Turn signals stopped working today so I was checking the relay and then they briefly worked. Then I noticed the neutral indicator light would not come on anymore & the bike will start in gear with the kickstand down. Im assuming relays...but both at once? Any suggestions as to where to purchase the ...

Re: R6 tail swap
I'm looking to do this same mod! I posted about it on the archive forum, but nobody replied. I will give you a quick rundown of what I'm doing. I'm planning on building a 400/600 bike. My interest in the subframe swap is weight savings and looks. I have no interest in using a stock 400 subframe caus...

600 Frame factory paint code!
Hey gang! Was wondering if anybody here could help me out with the paint code for the stock 600 frame. I was recently informed that my 95 600 donor bike for my 400/600 build is now going to become my girl's bike for next year. So, instead of tearing it down, I need to fix it up. Frame is near excell...
