FS: '91 FZR 600 - SOLD

Hey Gents! It's been awhile since I've been on... You all may remember the pics of the bike after I finished the body and paint about a year and a half ago... I went down at the beginning of last May doing 25 MPH in some twisties on a very cold early (EARLY) morning going back home after bouncing a ...

Re: WNY

Without a doubt. I guess a few of my buddies are all buying some this season too.... all last summer it was just me and one other guy...occasionally my brother-in-law on his harley....but I think we'll be running with an sv650s, an '06 katana, an older honda cruiser, and maybe a beater gsxr.... quit...

Re: WNY

Niiiiiice. I've yet to do the cosmetics on mine after the little baby spill I did....and since it's apart, I'm hoping to get the frame coated and the suspension goodies in. Maybe some new battleaxes... should spice things up somewhat!

Re: Stock Decals and Paint

Xtreemedecals was a great site... they sent from Europe, but they made it in good timing, and the quality was superb... I'm going to be reordering 1 side of my leguna race kit since the bike took a spill and will be getting a facelift this winter. I e-mailed ahead in hopes of being able to order onl...

Re: Anyone familiar with Honda CB's?

My dad has a '78 CB750K...the bike I learned on actually. It's a blast to ride and I still have the intention of turning it into a full cafe.

Re: Where does this plug go?

I don't have an EXUP, but I would assume that any open plug on the CDI would leave some of the circuit open, meaning no spark... :headbang: Not the case with my 96 EXUP. Ripped the EXUP servo off and disconnected it from the CDI and never had an issue. That might not be the case with the earlier mo...

Re: Where does this plug go?

I had to look for a new CDI when I bought my bike. The earlier years for the EXUP models had the round plug you're speaking of (~'91). And buying a new-used CDI certainly did take care of my no-spark problem on cylinders 2 & 3. I don't have an EXUP, but I would assume that any open plug on the CDI w...

Re: A small visit to the hospital...

Thanks for all the kind words guys! Here are some pics of the personal damage... The bike still runs absolutely fine - in fact I think the spill freed up my front brakes a little because they've all but lost their sponginess! Don't mind the pink phone (it's my girlfriend's...the software on...

A small visit to the hospital...

On a beautiful October day and what was to be the last ride of the season before I tucked the FZR away for my winter months at school, disaster struck. I was preparing the bike for a nice, long ride with my buddy (SV650S) throughout the Buffalo area. It was 74 degrees today since we're at the tail e...
