So i definately bought the vr i was showing you guys, its on its way soon and im anxious cuz i havnt been able to ride without breaking down after 20 min of riding. hopefully it will get here before it snows again. Ill post pics of the swap and let you guys know how it works

Do you think this will work for the vr swap? Its off of a yamaha and its got the same color wires with the 1 positive, 1 ground and 3 white wires.....whats your opinions? i cant post a pic right now but i will later. yeah ive understood that i need that one i just get auto parts next to nothin so i just thought i would take a stab in the dark and see if an automotive one would work. any more opinions? if it wont work any reasons why not.

So , today i was thinking to myself after talking to someone who knows a little about bikes....could i just use a 12 volt automotive vr? Even if its got a heatsink or if i just mounted it up to the heat plate? Any feedback because i work at a parts store and i could easly get one cheap....thanks guys.
