yes, you need the jet kit install it all NOW before winter sets in. if you tune it during cold winter weather, the settings won't be right when spring / summer rolls around ask me how i know banghead x2 been there done that I hate IL because we get weather from 20 below to 110 generally more like 0...

Yea, the radiator cap sits at the front of the triple right underneath the tank cover. It's secured at the 'V' in the front of the frame.

Sounds like the signal is wired incorrectly at the signal or some where in the harness... CDI wouldn't do that ...
