Massive necro bump, I know. But does anyone happen to have a copy of the diagram here? I want to build a new harness for my bike that eliminates as much unnecessary wiring as possible and this would probably be a great place to start.

Because I hate it when people don't post solutions, I'll follow up. I swapped all four cam caps but left the cams (so as to not have to re-adjust the valves again). Before I did, I checked all the bores for size; the biggest variance I saw between the upper and lower halves was .002". So far I've wa...

Broken camshaft cap; what are my options?
Long story short, while attempting to adjust the valves I managed to break one of the cam caps. I have a "parts" head with good cam caps. Is it possible to replace just the broken cap, or do I have to swap all the caps/cams as a matched set, or do I have to replace the whole head (again)?
