been pretty bizzy with work and stuff and crap weather here in the southern hemisphere :headscratch: but managed to get both a tooth smaller front sprocket and a V+H slipons fitted BIG thumbs up to Darren (Ragedigital) for sending both items over and that they were in a good as nick as he said they ...

neat idea, i was thinking about removing the schorkel all together and making a bracket up just to hold the filter in place and then tuning to suit

just had the fizzy fullly serviced - overflow was filthy n muddy and ditto the radiator which ended getting flushed twice to clear all the crap out and then refilled with silkolene pro-cool which ive used in a fe bikes and always seems to work well even in our hot summmers .

so what new exhaust are available for the fzr600 at a reasonable price ( i dont know if yoshi, akro, etc even do pipes anymore) , looking around at ebay doesnt seem to be alot available - mostly vance and Hines SS2R either in slipon or the full system http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Vance-Hines-SS2R-...

was having a look at the airbox ( as well as the fake ram air ducts :mad( ) was thinking has anybody tried running their bike with the snorkel removed - its wouldnt be hard to make up a brace out of either plastic or alloy to run across the top of the filter to keep it in place. im guessing you woul...

took her for another more lengthy spin , chucked a bottle of Wynns petrol treatment an put some air in the tyres ...hey that's much better in the handling department. motor pulls very cleanly all the way to near the redline, no signs of breakdown or anything. motor seems to spin up freely if perhaps...

dunno if this helps out at all, but reading here and elsewhere seems a 150/70 is fine whereas a 160/60 s starting to get a little wide and may cause you some greif with clearances

possible dum question but where the hell is it ????? the bike s idling very low - sub 1000rpm and more likely around 600rpm ive got the owners handbook in pdf i d/léd from the old site - makes no mention.
