Ok well after my second attempt at replacing stator im stumped... it started for about 30 seconds and then turned off and will crank but wont start now.. its making a weird noise like somthing rubbing against somthing but thats what i checked the first time and have no idea... was runing long enough...

Do you have any idea what size wire it would be since theres 2 different size clips.. doesnt say what size but wires from stator are stock and yazaki 1989

I have a 1989 fzr 600 and i was taking apart the stator when i tried to unplug the connectors from stator wires, well it looked like the picture and i cant find that connector anywhere.. i have a new stator coming so i just need the one side.. also any ideas why the connector would melt like that......

The one connector looks melted and corroded, do you think the stator would do that if its bad? Or a short.. either way i ordered a new stator not sure where to find a new connecter either for the other side once i get the new stator

So its 13.6 off key turned 12.8 v idling 12.48.... and when reved its just drops about 0.01 every few seconds

I can find out tonight, but when battery is full its between 12-13v and then when i start it and idle it sat at the samr, also when i reved it the voltage stayed same besides loosing like .04 volts when reved and then goes back up liie .03 volts

I got a 1998 fzr 600 just bought, will only ride for about 1 hour and the battery dies, its a brand new battery, i just bought a new regulator rectifer, but still just dies slowly, before i pay for new stator do any of you guys think that it could be wiring, the wire that goes from battery to regula...
