Be thankful you're in your garage, I'm stuck here at work!
Set backs are always disappointing, no worries man.

Why two different mirrors? Is that all you could find?

My Victory's name is Lady, the GSXR's name is the Tramp, and the FZR's name is Sparky given that is has plenty of spark left in it :p

Re: Far 600 rebuild
Nice! I'll have to look it up when I get home. I'll want a better copy when I do the valve clearances.

Re: Far 600 rebuild
I was reviewing it some in the manual. I think I'm going to try to get my hands on a paper copy, this digital copy is awful! I'm looking into getting a motorcycle specific jack, I'll need one when I have to change the tires on my Victory anyway. It'll definitely make this process easier. It always f...

Race/Track Suspension and Tires
So I see plenty of information about swapping forks and rear suspension with R6 hardware. Is the stock suspension really that bad? I'm going to rebuild the stock forks with better springs, but I'm wondering how necessary it is to buy a $600 rear shock. What is so bad about the stock rear suspension?...

Re: Far 600 rebuild
Nice! Any update on the body work from Air Tech? I can't wait to see the final product.
I just drained the oil this evening, didn't feel like doing a whole lot seeing as though I get to work fri/sat/sun... That was the first step of my tear down. Need to figure out the easiest way to drop the engine.

Re: Far 600 rebuild
So after I got home not too long ago, the device with the flow arrow in the fuel pump. The fuel regulator? I have absolutely no idea. I took it all out to trash. Got the battery and fuel pump in today. Hooked the battery up and there is no power to the starter or the speedo/tach... Investigate furth...

Re: Remove sprocket cover?
Great, thank you. It's all seized up right now from rust/grime/lubricant over the year. I need to clean it out to get everything functioning again and I'll let you know if I have any questions!

Re: Remove sprocket cover?
Can anyone explain to me how the clutch cable disengages the clutch? What exactly does the mechanism do inside of the sprocket cover? Does it push the push rod to relieve the pressure on the clutch?
Thanks in advance

Re: Far 600 rebuild
Ok cool, that clears it up some :cheers Once I get the crab float bowl gaskets replaced it may be easier to piece together.
The clutch cable is hooked up to the front sprocket cover still, I haven't disconnected it. Honestly I have no idea how this model is supposed to function

Re: Far 600 rebuild
The hose I'm talking about is in the first picture the the right of the silver dial. Can take a better one if need be. I'll have to do more research about the push/pull deal. Never dealt with carbs before. That would certainly explain what it is. I just didn't know about it since it had already been...
