If there anything like a car water pumps.When the berings start to go bad,water will leak out of the weep hole indacating you need a new water pump.it dose this so you know it's going bad insted of it just crapping out without you knowing it causing catastrophic failure to the rest of the engine......

Hi, My little FZR is losing water from a small hole on the bottom of the water impellor. I took the cover off and was able to push the impellor back about 3 or 4 mm.
