got my answer the pickup and stator are one unit and come together as a single purchase

located the rectifier and she is in great shape will do the electrical test tomorrow. are you local Scarborough Ontario do you have any adaptors in stock and you have any rectifiers perhaps I can pick up both items from you if you have them. Or best price retailer for new rectifier

your adaptor harness allows for a newer regulator part is that correct. thanks for walking me through this

thanks for the reply much appreciated I'm guessing voltage relay regulator vrr I will do the check up many thanks. I put a new battery in lithium and she fired up in worked like a charm. I figure in the long run it will happen to the new battery as well so I will check all the good stuff mentioned
