Wow that looked bad. Love the use of instant gasket.... I hope my next project goes a little smoother than this one.

Just a few picks..... thought I had a barging at £500..... nothing worked.... valves and piston rings were shot.... never seen anyone try and repair electrics like that before. List goes on and on. Re: 3en2 carb rubbers
Those are the OEM numbers which I got from that site. I have been on the yamaha parts site and the number is not recognised. Will try phoning them today but I'm. Not holding my breath

Re: 3en2 carb rubbers
Hi thanks for the help.
I've checked the part numbers which seem to be 3en-13586-10 and 3en-13596-10. They don't seem to be listed on partzilla?

Right you wonderful people the 3en2 is nearly completed apart from I'm in need of some carb intake rubbers as mine are badly cracked. If anyone could help I would really appreciate it. Re: Fzr 400 3en2 rear caliper
Thankyou everyone for the advice. I have drilled and tapped the bleed nipples and replaced with domed Allen key bolts and copper washers. I'm going to try the banjo bleed bolt as people seem to rave about them. If no good I will look for one of the alternatives listed. Cheers Sent from my SM-N9005 u...

Fzr 400 3en2 rear caliper
Hi can anyone help. I'm in need of a rear caliper for a 3en2. I'm sure a few other models fit but struggling to find one. Mine has a case of snapped of bleed nipples. Many thanks

Re: Carb 2 or bad valves?
Cost isn't a issue. The value of the bike when all done doesn't matter. It's being restored as a gift to my partner and won't ever be sold.

Re: Carb 2 or bad valves?
Just a update.... done a compression test. Very low across the board. 50 to be 70 psi. Bike is booked in with a bike builder in sept. He's going to go through the carbs and tear the engine down. Hopefully get back by the end of the month running beautiful.

Carb 2 or bad valves?
Ok I have a project 89 3en2 fzr 400. It has 63000 km on the clocks. Sorted the no charging with a second hand stator. Ran to a fashion. Carbs have been cleaned. Valve clearances were none existence on the inlet valves so I've done them. Trouble is it's still back firing back up carb 2 ( worst than b...
