Re: Swapping the engine head?
If you already have a motor from another bike, pull the head off that motor so you can see how it comes apart and goes together, I just did mine for the same reason of damaged plug threads. It isn't bad just time consuming. You WILL want a torque wrench as torque specs a really low and very easy to ...

Re: I got a problem
Check the fluid level at the cap and make sure it is full (after it cools down of course) You will have to remove the fuel tank cover to check it.

Re: Transmission noise
How many miles on the bike? Could be the bolts on the clutch basket are loose. You will have to pull the side cover and check. I am sure some of the other guys will chime in.

Front Fork Install Question

The manual just says basically reverse order ...

Re: New owner needs help :)
Most of the tank swaps are a YZF600 (not the R6) and from what I have seen to too difficult (can't say from experience as I have not done it) Most tails are 99-02 R6, can be done with or without using the R6 subframe (which requires cutting off old subframe and fabbing the R6 on) Here is a good link...

Re: Front locked. need to repair parts
Glad you are ok, could have been worse. But get her running and get back in the saddle. I would check around on eBay and the "For Sale Section" here. I'm sure most can be found on the site as there are a number of members that have tons of spare parts. Good luck
