So my bike starts up great, no problem don't even need the choke. Idles fine but when I take off I ease out of the clutch take off no problems but when I let off the gas then role back into the throttle it's like its slipping for a secs then catches an takes off. Ya that's what they did. Had to go buy a tap n dye set to get new plugs into it. But since then it runs great

what is a good aftermarket tack and speedometer combo set for a decent price. havent really looked around to much, would just like somewhere to start from. i dont even no any good brands. anything will help.

Ya I took a pic of the top of the head so I could see down the spark plug holes and some1 must have stripped out so old plugs n put helicoils in them. I think I'm just gonna get a dye n try to re thread new plugs to course thread. Not sure what else to do at this point

I got it running n everything seems to be working fine other than when I rev it the rpms hang there and I have to turn the idle screw all the way out for them to come back down then turn it back in to keep it at idle so it won...

So I popped out the spark plugs I bought with the bike to replace them. I looked at the old ones to compare them to the new ones and the old ones are course thread and the new ones are fine thread. Has anyone ever ran into anything like this? I went to a local shop n they said they have never heard ...

yes they are a joke. i dont use them. there pointless in my book

both throttle and return cable are not connected. the throttle spring on the carbs is fine. and completely took the carbs apart and cleaned them.

ok so i get my bike to start n it idles nicely for about 30 secs to a minute the revs way out without touching the throttle(throttle cables arent even hooked up). im pretty sure i have an air leak somewhere. i took off the carbs and cleaned them thoroughly.took off the boots from the intake manifold...
