Reason I ask is i seen mine was a bit rusty on the inside and squirted some pb down it and pulled it a bit, and out it came. I put the ...

i thought i read that the air tech stuff was thin fiberglass? iv looked at them and would consider as long as they are not junk cause they are pretty much direct bolt on.

tails that work???

Of course the popular is the r6 but after looking at all the parts needed it adds up fast. Now i seen someone had a cbr tail and used fzr seats so only cost was tail and light. Any others work where all you need is the tail and light? Bending, shaping, welding, and drilling does not scare me.

I picked up some 3/16 x 1 1/4 steel and made the dog bones. I just did what the wiki said and made the holes 5" apart. At first i had the shock at 7 and i couldnt flat foot the bike perfect so i reset the shock to 1 and now i can flat foot it just fine. Il play with the setting over time to find the...

Re: dog bones

i buy steel all the time just to have on hand for when i weld something or rig something together. I know it comes in all kinds of thickness and width is usally inch up to like 2 inches wide. Im just wondering if its strong enough cause the stock bones are pretty thin but must be storng metal.
