Pods, A question and possible solution????
OK, I got the Dual K&N Pods for my FZR, I know what all the post's say, but I am one to try something myself. I thought "it cant be as bad as they say". The only reason I wanted them was the modified (Hacked to SH@T  ) air box that is a PIA to reinstall. Well, I'm gonna say it was UGLY. I have...

Radiator leaking???
Mr radiator has started the leaking issue. I have a couple of questions
1) has anyone succesfully used a radiator (dump in) to temp fix it? just for a couple of more weeks till it goes night night for the winter
2) Can I upgrade to an YZF / R6 radiator and fan, if so how difficult?
Thanks
Ron

Re: R6 Rear Shock revisited (Please)
You sir must be a physic! Yes 200 lbs. The shock that is on their now is the stock (origional 30k miles) shock and it is beat to death!!!!! Again as stated I am not looking for "race Quality" so the R6 is just a budget minded replacement. I like that fact that I can "Tinker" with the adjustments. I ...

Re: R6 Rear Shock revisited (Please)
So than this will not work http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... 0275244754 to raise the rear after the shock install?
Is there an easy solution? I do not have a way to make my own, and lowering the rear is not gonna be a good thing.

Re: R6 Rear Shock revisited (Please)
The 06 R6 shock is supposed to be painless, a couple of spacers and some grinding of the bottom mount hole. The post states that the dogbones were made longer, that is where the question is????

R6 Rear Shock revisited (Please)
I have been searching for a while on both forums and have no answer..... If I wish to raise the rear ride height and put in the '06 R6 shock I just bought, can I get away with NOT putting in longer dog bones? What is the effect of raising the rear? I am a hobbiest and not a corner thrasher, although...

Re: Reminder to BE CAREFUL
I hate to add fuel to the fire, and I certainly feel the loss. I have been riding since I have been 5, I am 43 now. My bikes have all been cruisers, and when I purchased my FZR, my wife said "They are dangerous"! I stand by my statement to her. I said "most accidents with sport biles are caused by t...

i love the black / graphics tank and the custom seat, very nice work bud! Did you have it professionally painted? looks shiny. :king WOOT No, I bought the tank off of EBay, had the graphics made at the local speed shop (tank 49.00 and the graphics 21.00) Seats are custom covers from EBay (74.00 for...
