Yes sir that is the piece for some reason I was thinking mine looked different but I compared them. It helps to have the parts in front of you when you're trying to figure shit out. Thanks for the pic man.

The water pump was shredded by the chain snapping
. I dont plan on using junk plugs I will probably take the hit and go with what you suggested as soon as this storm passes. Should hopefully be here by Friday with the rod though will update you soon.

Re: 96 fzr 600 just purchased today!
Just an update due to some unfortunate bouts with medical issues I had to put the bike on hold for a bit. Recently I came pretty close to a heart attack and I'm only 26 but very fit. They think it was genetic. Also possibly getting knee surgery (meniscus tear no big deal) but I finally got around to...

Re: interchangeable clutch push rods?
But see that sounds right but when I look at the one that I removed its not just a round piece it has a little collar that goes into the shaft part around the rod. Am I just missing this in the pic? I mean its not like I would be out much its only 6 bucks but I just want to get it right the first ti...

Re: interchangeable clutch push rods?
Well as you said the rod should outlast the bike as far as normal wear and tear (damn chain) so I have a question. I ordered one from the U.K. and its for my bike luckily it was like 15 dollars all together. The only part of mine that busted was the small 2 inch section that sticks out from the cham...

interchangeable clutch push rods?
What's up guys? I recently snapped my chain and it busted my water pump (purchased new one) and also my clutch push rod. Is there any models that interchange with ours? I have a 1996. The reason I ask is I'm trying to get this all put back together as fast as possible and I'm having trouble finding ...

Re: 96 fzr 600 just purchased today!
Well now I have a new problem and its a huge one. As I was shifting to second I heard a clank and the bike acted as if it was in neutral and as I looked down I saw a rusty colored fluid leaking out underneath where the clutch is. The bike still runs and everything but doesn't move so im assuming its...

Re: 96 fzr 600 just purchased today!
Got an issue George. My bike wont crank now and my solenoid makes one loud tick and that's it but if I hit it with my pliers a few times it starts up. Is this my solenoid going bad? I ordered a new one anyways for 15 so not a loss if it isn't.
