Neverending Valve Adjustment
Did a search and did not really find what I was looking for. I have been having trouble with a valve adjustment and the problem is on the exhaust side. It seems that no matter what size shim is placed in all the exhaust valves, the after measurement is the same as when I started. I have tripled chec...

Re: Front sprocket Nut Torque
The lock washer is fully engaged. It has not come completely loose but would spin back and forth against the lock washer. I will try that torque again and see what happens.

Front sprocket Nut Torque
Just curious if any one has the torque spec for the front sprocket nut? I have a clymer manual and it list it as 43ft lbs which seems kinda low to me. Plus it has come loose a couple times even with the lock washer in place. When I took the sprocket off the other day, I flattened the lock washer and...

The bike is running a 150/60/18 and a 120/60/17, the rear of the bike has been raised with dogbones(not sure how much, but I am 6 ft and can flat foot it) and the front has been dropped a...

Re: Electrically Lost
Well tore into the bike last night and as far as the turn signal goes I found the problem. It was just the turn signals themselves not the bike. I pulled them off and hooked up another set I had lying around. Seem to be functioning now. All the fuses are good and are the correct amperage. Charging v...

Electrically Lost
Need some help and dont know where to go from here: Started having some starting problems earlier this year so I looked at the battery. Battery was a little weak and some of the cells were low. Refilled with distilled water and put the battery on a battery charger/maintainer. Seemed to help as bike ...
