Air rises so it's hard to get the bobbles out at the bottom of the line at the caliper. A vacuum system that sucks the fluid in at the bleeder would work well but an alternative is to take the calipers off, put something between the pads to keep them from closing all the way. Got the bike out of the bulk head started right up then died and wouldn't start. The little plastic splitters between the carbs were leaking fuel. Had to take it all back apart split the carbs and then try to actually find new o-rings. So got it back together and started so now that it's up, running...

Check your voltage I'd say your voltage regulator might be bad as you rev it up the voltage will increase causing the lights to brighten. Just check for 14.5 at the battery. If it is bad you can do a lot of electrical damage so check it soon

I don't know about the chain lube might be fine. Don't use wd-40 it will dry out. You'll have better luck with a runny lube like a penetrating oil it will flow in there better.

You would have to remove one end of the cable and use a spray lube with the little red tip and squirt it between the cable and coating. You could also take the cables off and submerge them in an oil or some thing of that nature. It could just be the cables are worn out and dragging inside the coatin...

Thanks It's actually a stock 99-02 r6 exhaust I bent the mount on the muffler and rotated it up. I wanted a high mount but I've spent so much already I'm gonna make what I have work. Here's a shot from the rear while I was doing a mock up. Image

I'd check the torque on the axle but I'm inclined to think a wheel is out of balance. Have you lost any wheel weights?

ive been thinkin about getting the r6 tank how did it fit compared to the yzf600. im kinda torn between the two. i havent touched mine in months i been bulding a jeep from scratch and lost interest. just like me, one thing to the next.

if your using the yzf600r engine an not the fzr then you dont have to space the chain out because the engine has it built in. use a sprocket with no collar on it or put the collar on the outside. i found a fzr front sprocket fits on the yzf

i havent mounted it yet but im probally just going to use an r6 battey for the 07 its a complete subframe tail setup so it should fit like stock
