Re: Laid my bike down :(

Leg stretches are a go! But I don't think my legs are going to do too much damage to Semi's door lol! While I have the bike apart today I've been cleaning it and doing some maintenance. The K&N air filter was filthy, everything else was pretty dirty and dusty too. Checking all the bolts still and ho...

Re: Laid my bike down :(

Okay so I fixed the chain issue, seemed to be touching the rubber piece thing that sits below the chain needed readjusted. Now onto the whole gauges being too close issue, I'm not sure what I should be attempting to bend back into place to get everything repositioned properly. Thanks for all the hel...

Re: Laid my bike down :(

You know what I didn't even think about the kick stand. I'll take pictures after work. The mirrors unfortunately are both broken off now :( luckily I kept the stock mirrors so I'll have to throw those back on it for now.

Laid my bike down :(

So last Friday I got ran off the highway and laid my bike down. I'm lucky, my helmet saved my life and I walked away from it with a minor concussion and minor road rash. Now I'm trying to get my bike fixed, there is little damage to it. Now I'm not very mechanically inclined so take that into accoun...

If the '92 parts are compatible with the 89' I need the tail fairings if you have them.

Re: Mirror help

M In KC, what exactly are those? I can see them in the picture but I'm not sure what the name of them are.
ThatKid, how hard would you think it would be on a scale of 1-10 lol. I actually found a wire crimping tool laying around in my house, why I have one I have no clue but hey I'm not complaining.

Mirror help

So I got my 89' 600 road ready and now I just have to get the cosmetic issues done. So first things first, turn signal! Would these go on easily and be a good replacement rather than the stock ones I have, because the stock ones are awful. http://bit.ly/PcFGKy Also my mechanical experiences are extr...

Re: 92 V&H FZR 600 Sitting for 8 years

From what I've read all over the internet and on this website people recommend putting about a teaspoon of oil in the cylinders and pushing the bike to get the cylinders moving and the oil distributed.
