Re: FZR400 subframe
To be honest I never looked at the number on the frame until about 2 min ago. Ha ha. It is a 3BF but am told the 1WG ones will fit. I am indeed talking about the rear subframe the part that holds the seat up and in this case also the rear shock. All the ones on ebay I have come across do not have th...

Looking for a subframe for my 89 FZR400. It's the one with the shock mount on it. If you know where I might find one let me know. Thanks.

Re: My ghetto tail chop.
A good start, but now you have all those internals hanging out that need sorting. The coolant bottle can be replaced with just about any kind of robust plastic or metal drink bottle and relocated up by the rad cap. A lot of guys trim away those goofy luggage / grab rails, and anything else that sti...

Re: Looking for a Canadian frame with title
I was able to pick up a steal of a deal on a whole bike through a buddy for $500. Its in great shape just like my yellow one. I dont know how I manage to find these things in this shape for these prices but I am not complaining at all.

My ghetto tail chop.
Just thought I would show off my lil tail chop. Its pretty ghetto as I really only did it to hold me over while waiting for the airtech one and will only be using for a while. i used a wood bit and a jigsaw so it honestly is pretty ghetto. But it looks good and now may think about cleaning it up a t...

Re: Looking for a Canadian frame with title
Thanks. I have been checking out all the ones around Toronto but not much luck. I have seen a bunch of replies that say "we dont have one but we do have a gsxr frame if you want". The gsxr is fine and all but to be honest I love my lil FZR and want to get this second one finished. Ive got my front a...

Looking for a Canadian frame with title
As the title says I am looking for either another FZR600 frame or a 400 frame thats in Canada. I looked into bringing one across the boarder and its just a nightmare to get put back on the road and I just do not want to deal with it to be honest. I'm not in a huge rush to find one but figured if any...

Re: Ignition Coils
What years of a ford escort can i use? 91 and later as long as its fuel injected 1.9L or 2.0L. The 1.8L in the gts was a Mazda motor with a single coil and cap rotor setup. Its also the same coil used on the Mustang and other V8 Fords with the dual 4 pack coil packs. Msd and Accel make aftermarket ...
