what exactly are the dowels for Don? I assumed it was for lining up the gasket? Sorry if I sound a bit thick but I am not mechanically minded at all

Blimey I surprised myself I did it! It was a nightmare the bearings were stuck and I used the oven and freezer methods ,one of the dowels was ceased in and I had to leave one out, anyone know where I can buy a replacement dowel and also the precise bearings size ? Anyway the gasket and cover are on ...

Hello All,
I received my new starter cover and Gasket today and going to attempt to fit them myself, does anyone have any idea when I can find a guide to doing the job, I'm not a good mechanic so would like to know how difficult it is before I attempt it

Tomorrow I am going to attempt to drain my bike of water/coolant and put new coolant and water in, I noticed today that my filler bottle was empty and it took nearly 1.5 litres to fill it, which doesn't sound right does it :yikes: So think a start would be too drain the system and top it up and then...

I had the same problem with carb bowl screws recently. I hammered a screwdriver into the top of the screw to create a flat-tip screwdriver slot- did this twice to create one slot on each side. Hammer it down in the direction you want the screw to go, so the slot is angled a bit, and less likely to ...
