So I found I can literally put my front tire next to a pole and change my alignment by pushing my bars towards into the pull. (PO installed bars in place of the clip ons). It takes some effort but I feel like it should take more. Is it supposed to be like this or is there something I need to tighten...

So if the speedo is fast than actual speed. that means miles go on faster right? meaning there is actually more miles on the odometer than there actually is on our bikes. and also means we aren't getting as good of gas mileage as calculated because the speedo put more miles on the trip than we actua...

Did the GPS speedo. City its about 5mph fast and freeway roughly 6-10.

Good thinking on the timing. Is there a way to securely mount my phone in sight on my bike? Any time I go somewhere new I have to take my car so I can use my GPS.

ok cool. i think i get what your saying. Im not mechanically stupid but i am new to bikes. so if your bored and would like to go more into detail go for it. if not dont worry about it

Is there a way to tell if its welded/broken without taking it apart?

Just finished adjusting it on the clutch cover. I think I did it correctly. Loosen lock nut, tighten the screw until I feel spring and back off 1/4 turn, tighten lock nut while hopefully not messing the screw. Judging by the slack still in my line I think I need a new cable? Haven't ridden it yet so...

Both cables are there. If noticed its gone down some. I put air in the tires (po sold to me with 1/2 the suggested psi). Might also be because I ride it everyday to work. The po had it sitting for a few months.

I was just reading up how to do that. Will be doing so when I get home from work and report back. Thanks.
