No, easier than I expected. Just have the long Allen's, T-handle worked like a champ. You have to pull your clutch and oil pump to get to #19 and #20does not exist if you look at it inthe manual. There are three points on the upper half you can use a rubber mallet to tap on one by one till it comes ...

Okay, so now that no one has answered I found all my answers. Didn't like what I found, but found it. If anyone ever wears out the chain guard on the intake side, the one held down by two Allen head bolts, you have to split the case to get in there. Its not hard as long as you do it right and FOLLOW...

Re: need timing chain guide upper, someone help! (need parts
Ok, found the upper chain guard. Also known as chain damper #2 for anyone else looking at the same issue. Partzilla is great, just have to click through a few diagrams to find the right one, but if someone is in the US and has a spare I could purchase let me know asap before I buy one online tomorro...

Okay, so I did some investigation and found the guide under the chain tensioner was cracked and wedged together. It hasn't fallen or crumbled, but cracked in two pieces. I need another one almost imediatly, I use the bike as my daily driver and my other option is a 8mpg truck. I have a 45 mile commu...

Re: Check out my sprocket! or whats left of it! (pic)
Well, with the constant movement of the chain it cleans better. I have done it in a bucket before, just seems to work better for me. Chain is showing signs of wear too, heat stress on the rollers. Im going to replace the whole kit.

Re: How to tell if its a 520 chain or not
Will do, my issue now is determining what kit to buy. When I look it up I see a lot of 5 bolt rear sprockes, and a few 6 bolt. Mine is a 6 bolt sprocket right now. Got to do some readearch to find out what dimensions I have. This would be a lot easier if I knew what year yzf swingarm I had.

Re: Holding Revs
Worth looking at the grip as well. Does it move freely, or a little hard. Might need some Lu e between the grip and tube. Always worth checking the small stuff first.
