Re: Need Advice
Depends on the mileage and condition. I would rather ride an older bike. I prefer the style. Stay classy San Francisco. Ever go to the Moto Guild on treasure island? No, I have not. I do plan on going in the future though! And yeah, the CBR is in good condition, well maintained and only 9K miles, h...

Need Advice
So currently I am at crossroads. My chain on my FZR snapped a couple of weeks ago, sent the chain flying into the left side engine casing/ sprocket cover, left a nasty hole, and cracked the actual engine case. Now the thing is, is that I have another spare FZR lying around, most of it is missing but...

Any one know how to bypass high/low beam switch?
So exactly what the title says. Lost headlights in the front, checked the bulb with a new one, and still not working. Gauges still illuminate (So it's not the starter). If I toggle the high low beam fast enough the lights start working, and or hold down the high beam switch down really hard. I have ...

You could have gotten a bad battery, happened to me. Go to your nearest auto store and have them load test it for free to see whether or not it was just a bad battery.

I also found out that isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) works really well when putting grips on, plus it evaporates fairly quickly.

Re: Air filter help
Would you have to change jetting? Because according to K&N these "Hi-flow" filters are supposed to let more air in...I still have stock jets. Would that be a problem?

Air filter help
Ok,so out of the 2 air filters that I bought so far, emigo and some other brand do not fit into my fzr. So now I'm trying to buy OEm, only problem is that it is $68.74 before taxes from the yamaha dealership. I found some on ebay from the UK, would these fit? UK model is listed as 3HE-8 and mine is ...

Re: My Headlights suck....
Yup, did some more digging and the headlight assembly should fit the fzr600 but, the headlight bulbs are some weird P30t-40 type of bulbs. Took me some time to track down these bulbs, and they're 26 British pounds, each...not worth it...probably better off retrofitting a projector and some H4 HID's ...
