Re: My custom 250 2kr
Dunno. Should have worked; pics are off my FB, this is them again. I broke my speedo cable yesterday. Getting another one. Have a Koso RX2 gauge coming and I got a full set of damaged R1 fairing parts, mostly under the house. Gonna try stick this on the front of the 250. Don't know how I'm gonna fit...

I did my 250 in Mazda's Snowflake Pearl. Possibly an option?

Re: My custom 250 2kr
As anyone with 250 knows, parts can be a bitch to come by. I got what I could and what I could not get I improvised. I managed to get faring brackets on the left side. Unfortunately the right side with the choke the bracket was broken. Cue JB weld, some steel and a big screw. Have some other metal f...

Re: My custom 250 2kr
The fiberglass top broke off. I should have glassed it all the way around the tail. This time I used expanding foam - the white stuff. Cut it to the shape I wanted. Then this time I glassed over it, all the way to the line where the tail curves underneath. Much stronger. I have ridden over 2,000 km ...

My custom 250 2kr
I decided I wanted to do this one day when I went to go for a ride. Every panel had damage and it just looked so old and tired, poor thing. Tank cover got blown off the bench I had it on and suffered a big dent. Bike slid off the stand - cracked the side plastic. The fairings were damaged when I got...

Re: runs sometimes mint, sometimes s**t
A thread dredge I know. This issue was resolved once I had the carbs balanced and tuned, they were a little out of sync and one was rich compared to the others. Done nearly 15,000 km since without hassle.

help! Dammit, took it apart, lost pictures I took :(
So I wanted to tidy my 1988 2kr FZR 250, painted the frame black, gave it a good clean etc. Dunno what happened, lost all the pictures I had taken. I took out the petrol tank, airbox, carbs, radiator, thermostat housing, coolant pipes, un-did the wiring loom, (loom is 95% back together now, have dia...

Re: runs sometimes mint, sometimes s**t
Adjusted the screw and it idles. Problem is its now running like it did before I cleaned the carbs. It'll just hesitate right through the rev range, vibrate/ feel rough.

Re: runs sometimes mint, sometimes s**t
Tried searching about this but didn't seem to have any luck. Bike is back together and running. It will not idle its as if the idle screws are set to low. I never touched any adjustment screws, I just took all the float and jets out sprayed carb clean in there. Could I have upset something with my n...
