Thanks everyone for the input, The problem has now been solved, The issue was with Glazed steel plates i took some fine wet and dry to them then cleaned them up with brake cleaner to make sure i got rid of any fine metal particals,

and now it works as it should.

Thanks for the replys, I have checked the push rods and they appear fine and in good condition,

Does anyone know what the clutch stack height should be? I measured mine to be 42mm

Cheers for the imput, I have checked and checked springs are correct, everthing actuates as it should, the only thing i have not replaced is the steel plates but i have checked thickness and warping and they fine, the only thing it could be i assume is the oil it put in, if it is I am a little annoy...

I have just checked the pressure plate and it is in the correct position had the plates out just to check i have not made a obvious error and all appears as it should as per the manual I have, it engagers gear with a bit of a clunk but nothing major neutral is easy to locate so i assume there is no ...

Thanks for the reply guys,

the oil level is fine its only just had a oil/filter change about 200 miles back, basket looks good as new, I did check for warping they looked good,will check as for the pressure plate hopefully this will be my undoing :)

I soaked them in brand new 10 40 oil for 3 hours as recommended in the brief instructions on the EBC box.

Hi People I have a small issue with the clutch slipping on my Fzr 600 3he 1990, I have changed the friction plates and springs EBC items, I adjusted the cable up on the sprocket side (lock nut loosened turn the screw until you can feel slight resistance then 1/4 back tighten lock nut back up) but it...

I have been out and I think the steering head bearings are the culprits when turning lock to lock there seems to be a "notch" so have ordered some bearings
