1997 FZR600 Brakes and Tires
Ok I have been all over the web and I have 2 issues. My stock Front tire is 110/70R17 which is not to hard to find but my rear tire 140/60VR18 seems to be damned near impossible. I was actually only to find Shinko which I am told is not a great tire. Does any one know 100% what sizes I can substitut...

Re: HID Help
So it seems the best route is the HID's so back to my original question. Does the following seem to be the route for a 1997 FZR600? I also assume I will need 2 of them?
DDM 35W & 55W Single Hi/Lo Motorcycle HID Kit
35W
H4 Hi/Lo
6000k

Re: HID Help
Well what exactly are you wanting to do? I have bought several kits from an outfit by the name of VVME.com and they are Chinese but I like the quality and the price is right for the kits.I would suggest you get a 35Watt 4000k bizenon kit which merely moves the bulbs by solenoid froward and then bac...

Re: HID Help
From what I am told in PA as long as they are not BLUE the cops don't hassle you about it.
Re: HID Help
You can watch all those youtube cut and build video's to install mini projectors or other reflector pieces but in the end you will have chopped up your stock hard to replace headlight system. why not just buy a set of 35w 4000-5000k aftermarket hid kits online that will just replace the stock bulbs...
Re: HID Help
Putting HID bulbs in the stock housings is a good way to upset everyone else on the road. The reflectors are not designed for them and light will be cast everywhere. You end up blinding the other cars on the road. To do it properly you need to retrofit a full kit into the assembly that has a proper...
Re: HID Help
The stock lights Suck so bad. I have to have the high beams on just to see anything. Tried newer bulbs. Same issue.

HID Help
Ok I have an 1997 FZR600 and I would love to put some HID's in it. I know I need ballasts and so on but have no idea what I actually need. (Size, Wattage, 1 or 2, 6000 8000 etc.) Does anyone know or can put together a list of what I need to order and and Mods I need to make to make them fit?
