Those are the pads I used. I just took it round the neighborhood and it feels pretty good. The pads I removed had about half pads left. I'm assuming they are the original pads, with 22k on the bike. Does that sound right? Whats avg pad life for normal street riding.

Well I fnally got my pads on today, bit tight on the left side but it slid on. The instructions says 200 miles of city drving before they are broken in. Any recomendations for breaking in? I was impressed with EBC so now I have EBC sloted rotors and EBC yellowstuff pads on my truck.

Like they filled it back up? I don't think its an internal battery issue as much as its a post conection problem. I may still go to batts plus and get it filled. Its only a couple months old.

Thanks for the replies. The battery was like that since I bought it. I am looking for a maint free one, but I do think it has something to do with the connection.

Any better batteries out there? My bike seems to be having an issue with electronics shutting off like the battery was disconected. if I touch the + post it comes rught back on. my bike was cutting out in the highway last night due to it.

Good looking bike BTW. How is the gap on the plugs or just the plugs condition? enough spark to keep running but not enough to get a cold engine started unless hooked up to your 225 booster. Mine would barely start until I put fresh plugs in then it would fire right up I just reread you intial post,...

So when you connect a car battery or jumper cables it won't start but if you connect a bost charger it works fine. Have you tried just getting a new battery and trying it? or maybe a friend with a sim type of battery.

I second the battery is hosed, it can turn over but not give enough juice to ingnite the fuel esp if cold. Sounds like the culprit. Batteries can cause some bizzare problems that will seem unrelated.

But none of these details are there, I had suggested this a few weeks ago when you guys posted about it.

^^^ dude is totally cracking me up tonight... anyway, yeah, i DEFINITELY got 4, but i have no idea of their settings other than all the needles are at the 3rd position and they are by DYNOJET. I had a mechanic clean and tune them January of 2007 but don't know what he set the floats at or the mixtu...

Kind of what I thought, the level seems fine. I will look closer for an actual leak. Could putting supertech 20w50 cause the leak?
