My bike came with a scratched fork tube. Fixing the shock will likely cost almost as much as swapping in an R6 shock. Is a 2002 R6 shock the best shock to swap in? Is a FZ6? YZF600R? GSX? GSXR? shock a better bet? I have about 2000KM of riding experience and ride the bike in stop and go traffic fair...

Are there any models of stands that you recommend?

I am mainly looking to use the stands for winter storage (keep weight off tires) and basic maintenance. Do you think using the left stand for the rear wheel and the right stand for the front wheel will meet my needs?

Unfortunately they don't show any pictures of stands that will work. I found the attached stands for sale for $100. Do you think they will work with a 1990 FZR600. ...

About 1 in 30 times that I shift from 2nd to 1st the tranny gets stuck in neutral. When the tranny is stuck, the gears will grind when I try to leave neutral to either 1st or 2nd.
